Flange Spigot

The flange spigot is the end connector of a fitting that is to be assembled into another fitting. A hose bib which offers a male threaded connection to facilitate the connection with a garden hose, is required for this offering. Common application includes a type of junction used on pipes that have a spigot at one end that fits into and is installed in the bell and an increased diameter or bell at the other. Lead, cement, a rubber O-ring, or other jointing compounds or materials are then used to tighten the flange spigot. To obtain the proper thread, it is utilised to lengthen an existing thread.
